Since you are running a server, AV applications have some extra merit. I mention this because the consensus is that AV applications are generally not needed on Linux machines. The primary function of the AV will be to prevent propagation of viruses to Windows machines, NOT as a protective measure against your Linux system. Again, while there are Linux viruses, > 99% of what you will be scanning will be for Windows viruses. Scanning will be mostly on demand, for example, by an email server rather than background scanning of all files on access.
Having said the above: there are several Linux antivirus applications. ClamAV being a popular one because it is an open source alternative. Avast makes an antivirus for Linux that is free for non commercial use and I think is $15 (USD) for a commercial license. Avast is my personal choice for Windows. I think the Avast may function as a background scanning daemon. Also, AVG and Kapersky make antivirus applications for Linux. Of the two, given their reputation in the Windows world, I would go with Kapersky.
