Apache Conguration error for IDS

Hi all,
I was trying to configure apache for IDS. These were the steps which i had done when i came accros this error.

SSL_BASE=/sw/ids/openssl/openssl-0.9.7e ./configure --enable-module=ssl --enable-shared=ssl --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-rule=EAPI --activate-module=src/modules/php4/lipphp4.a

make certificate

make install

When i did run the "make install" command it gave me the following error:

This is the output in the log file.

make[2]: Entering directory `/sw/ids/apache/apache_1.3.33'

There's no error in the log you provided. It's a 100% succesful install.

The error message is in fact this:
Code:
mod_php4.c:956: `NULL' undeclared here (not in a function)
NULL is probably most common, standard value used, so the error is really strange. Have you compiled anything on that machine before? I'm asking, because your compiler install may not be full.
