That depends on a combination of things like what you configured AIDE to verify, the amount of file system entities and how quick it can process things.

I tried:

sudo /usr/local/bin/aide  --init --config=aide.conf --verbos
This error was shown:
There are rules referring to non-existent directory /var/adm

Well, then fix that.

I did it, but the process of the above command doesn't finish after long time.I waited more than 20 min!!!

Well then look in your log file and see what it does while initializing?

There is no log for it in /var/log/aide and not in /var/log/messages!

Then you'll probably have to configure it to do so. Anyway, I find we've digressed way past the original topic of this thread. You should really study the documentation and experiment.
