I think the people actually using it could be a lot more than 21 million becaue a lot of people seem to share their copy or obtain it from their distro so I guess they are not really counted in the download stats. I have personally installed my Windows copy on about 8 machines that I have repaired in the last few weeks.

i downloaded firemonger and i shared that over 30 machines
