yum update and up2date errors

I'm having problems with yum update and up2date (GUI version of yum). In up2date there are two things listed that need updated

1) kdegraphics--
when trying to install this is the error that it gives me from up2date

Test install failed because of package conflicts:
The following packages were added to your selection to satisfy dependencies:
Name Version Release
--------------------------------------------------------------
kdegraphics-devel 3.3.1 2.4

package kdegraphics-devel-3.3.1-2.4 is already installed

In the main menu it says that I am using version 3.3.0-3 and the new one is 3.3.1-2.4

2) syste-config-printer

3) Yum update--

Any clue on what to do? I'm not sure what has gone wrong....

Thank you!

up2date is not the gui front for yum. Yum does have a gui which is called yum-extender (very nice - have a look ).

You may have to add a number of repos to find the necessary dependencies. You can either use yum-extender, which will automatically allow you to choose which repos you want to check, or add the repos manually (to do the latter check out FedoraForum .
