I am not sure whether this post is correct for these forum. Please accept my apology if I am wrong.

I am new to centOS . I am trying to install R in in centos version 5.4
But i got the following error :

can anybody tell me how can install xorg-x1 package (with resolving all the relevant dependencies). ??

You need the headers, not the binary. Run: yum groupinstall "X Software Development"
