x server crash


x server crashing on me, using phlak linux with riva tnt nvidia video card with hitachi monitor, this happens only when i daul boot with any other linux i.e slackware.

im no expert but I believe you need to edit the xf-86.config file or something and put in a screen name, probably being the name of your monitor.
I hope this thread doesn't get bumped to the top of a forum. I was doing a search for removing boot loaders and this came up. So I hope you just get emailed about it.
