Hi there!
I'm kind of new to linux, I've been using it for a while now, but I still have a lot to learn...
My problem right now happens when I (or any other program) tries to change the display resolution.
My video card is a:
"VGA compatible controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. UniChrome Pro IGP (rev 01)"
I'm using the VESA driver so that I can get a resolution of 1240x1024..., otherwise I can't get that much resolution.
But whenever I try to change display resolution from Gnome, or any other program, tries to do so, X restarts... I have no way to know what is happening...
Is there any kind of logs? or something? Could it be the driver I'm using?
Ok, here we go......
It's a little long, it's not all of it, just the last part, what I did here was run Starcraft on wine, and in the moment it tried to go fullscreen X restarted....
