X crashes

I have just installed RH 7.3 on my IBM T21 and am getting intermittent crashes in X, I think its X anyway. My guess is that it might be the video driver, but I don't know how to go about reconfiguring it, selecting another driver, etc... Can someone point me in the right direction?

Have desire, will learn....

AsI understand from a google search it is an IBM thinkpad with savage video chip get the drivers at http://www.probo.com/timr/savage40.html
also per-use http://www.math.vt.edu/people/borgga...1_redhat7.html
the page is about RH7 on that particular laptop, but the steps should be identical except getting XFree86-4.x.x - RH7.3 already ships with 4.0

Thanks for the info. Between looking at that page you gave me, plus running Xconfigure, the problem seems to have gone away.
