I have installed Fedora 14 and everything is ok but i cant figure out how to connect to the internet, everything seems working my wireless card is recognized and it finds networks but i dont know how to configure it.Im using wireless internet with authentication (username & password) but i cant find where to put username & pass. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
what applet i selected network and it connects but i cant use internet until i enter username & pass and it dont ask for authentication at all, what do i need to configure in network connections for this to work?
Without knowing how you've set up your wireless router it is impossible to comment. The router should already be connected to the internet and you normally use a shared key to connect your computer to the router. If the connection has been made, then you can edit the connection by right clicking the applet in the panel. F14 has a network connections applet just to the left of the date in the top panel.
Well in my country, a wireless hotspot requires that you open your browser and you will be directed to a page where you enter your user name and password. If you had mentioned this in the beginning we would have this sorted by now. Are you sure this is wireless, or is this 3G ?
