Wireless card not recieving any signals

First it is an honor to be here in the forum with like minded individuals who resist the evil empire of microsoft. = ) Just kidding to each his own. I am a neophyte with this linux thing and would appreciate all direction to useful information sources in the linux world. I am the owner of a dell inspiron 5150 P4 3Ghz dual booting Suse and Kunbuntu. Unfortunately my 1350 WLAN Mini-PCI Card is not funtioning. I opened Knetwork manager to configure the wireless and recieve no signal available. With that being said I made sure I was siting right on top of an access point. If any one has any info to help I would appreciate your sharing of knowledge. Since my co-workers using microsoft are berating me due to my akwardness with Linux.

Thanks
n19ence

Post output from the command ' /sbin/lspci ' to see the hardware you have.
Then post /sbin/lsmod ' as well.
