wireless


from my office, i get my g wifi, and my neighbors unprotected wifi that i use when my own wifi has packed up.

in various linuxes i have managed to put in the ssid and if applicable the security, but it doesnt connect, why?

how do i quckly set up wifi when im out and about?

Are you saying that you are not able to connect to any wifi with Linux? Please give some more detail, including:
What version of Linux
Make and model of the computer and wireless card
What exactly you can and cannot do.

That's normally considered stealing---don't ask us to help there.
