windows pipes emulation

I have a problem running a native windows software on a pc running linux ubuntu 9.04.

we run the program using WINE (last), but, wine doest not suport the windows pipe communication system yet.

is there another emulator like wine or something else that emulates the pipe communication system used in windows ???

we do NOT want to use a virtual machine like virtual box, etc.

I am not aware of any other Windows compatibility layer for Linux, aside from the WINE spin-offs like Cedega and CrossOver.

CrossOver is probably the way to go. But make sure to get some feedback from them if their software really fits your specific project requirements.
