Zorin should recognize the 1TB Seagate but will not format it unless you, the user, tell it to. Do you plan to install Zorin to the Seagate? It will not assign it a drive letter such as you are familiar with from windows. That is a naming convention carried over from the pre-windows operating systems of the 1970's. You need to familiarize yourself with Linux drive naming conventions. Are you planning to keep your current windows installed and is it on the 'native' drive.
Zorin should give you several options during the install and you need to be familiar with them. If you have a current install of windows 8/10, read the information at the link below on dual booting using UEFI. If you don't know what UEFI is you need to read up on it. The link below is to the Ubuntu site and if you have any information on Zorin, you should know its relationship to Ubuntu. Found a site explaining (very briefly) installing Zorin alongside windows, 2nd link below.
