why my dvd benq is not working anymore?


You, i was using the mplayer as usual, and i was trying to find a command to
select chapters in the dvd, i found the option -chapter # to use it with the
mplayer but something unexpected happended. the dvd device is no working anymore
even the light is not blinking.

I typed :

mplayer dvd://1 -alang en -chapter 3

but then came the trayedy.

what should i do?

The dvd problem is not due to that

Post output of

#su
#hdparm -I /dev/dvdrw

or /dev/sdc
