Which distro for an old server

I have an old 486 that I would like to use as a server, which Distro would be best for doing this? I don't need a GUI, I would probably do administration remotely. I have a copy of RH 8.5 but the system requiements listed on the disk sound like this distro woud never work

I don't think Redhat ever released an 8.5 unless it's a beta or something. Slackware would definitely be a good choice on old hardware.
