where to get the commands guide ?

I am looking for the free downloadable format of the book called " The Universal Commands Guide " which contains all the 1134 linux redhat 7.0 commands as well as the solaris and unix commands.

Anybody knows where can I get the complete list of those linux commands for free ?

Well, the majority of them will already be in your system, in the man pages. Dont know of any other place to get them for free except by browsing the man pages online and or guides or howto sites.

As the trickykid says,

you might just have to make do with google.

You could have a look at the "rute user" link at my sig, that's not a bad place to start, or google for "linux cookbook".

regards

John

I don't know if this is what your looking for, but it's an excellent command reference guide, I have the paper back version I think it's the best. http://www.onlamp.com/linux/cmd/
