where is ATM?

i'm installing my zyxel asdl usb modem on my machine, when it comes to installing speedtouch1.7 it is telling me to enable ATM support in my kernel, but i cant find it when running make xconfig, can anyone help me out?

I use Mandrake 9.0 and I can find it in Network device support.

i found it under 2.4.20 & under 2.4.22, but for some reason i cannot select it under 2.4.22, so i down graded

in 2.4.22 you need to enable experimental stuff, atm in networking options, then ppp over atm appears in the network devices section under ppp.

i think the best way to find options that seem to dissapear is to grep the .config file because it keeps everything in order you know the right section to look in.
