Sorry, but there's no problem to help WITH.
Wired LAN connections don't HAVE SSID's or names....wireless does. If you want to change the name of the connection in Windows, you can probably right-click on it, and rename it. There is absolutely NOTHING you can change on the Linux side of things to make a wired network name pop up. All Linux is running is standard DHCP/DNS services, which are no different than the ones offered on any other platform.
