What CD label design software works best for printing directly on printable discs and has templates for Epson printers?

I have wanted to make a permanent jump to Linux for a long time--but what is holding me back is the fact that I have to have the ability to print labels on printable CDs and so far Epson has not made CD label design software which will work in a Linux OS and has no interest in doing so. A software package called Acoustica claimed it would work in Linux via a WiNE application--but I had no success with that process.
Has anybody worked with any of the label design software for Linux using direct to disc printing?
My apologies if this question is being presented in the wrong forum. If you could direct me to the correct forum I would gladly repost there and remove this thread.
Thank you.

It's been a long while since I labeled optical disks with anything other than a Sharpie, but I've had good luck with OOo templates back in the day. According to this thread from the LO forums, the old OOo templates should work just find with LO.
