The Raspberry Forums were set up for people to learn programming, & for technical details regarding the hardware; they have always said that it is best to use specific software forums in regard to software questions.

They more or less point blank refused to set up a forum for desktop users, I tried - they say to use the RPI400 forum.

When I found a Devuan distro for my RPi I was elated, not only because it's better than the Raspberry Debian, but because it's my main distro on, nearly, all my other computers.

For tech support LQ Distro forums are best, imho. The SBC sub forum seems to be less popular.

I've been using LQ around 10 years.
With my linux problems - this is the best site by far. In my experience.

If your linux problem is completely new - then even experts will know about it.
They can even respond to you.
And if not - at least they will know your problem.

Besides this site I've heard that /r/linuxquestions subreddit is good but it looks pretty inactive to me.
Yup.

I've also heard that the linuxmint forums are a good place, but probably only if you have questions related to mint.
Most linux problems will give solutions from the huge Ubuntu and Mint communities (webpages).
They can usually answer your debian-based questions.
If not - then I still learn a little bit more from the websites.

I generally ask my questions on the superuser stackexchange
Both superuser AND stackexchange are quite helpful with linux problems.

Remember to watch if the solutions are outdated or have few thumbsup by members.

So what are some other sites for finding tech support?
That is a good question.
I wondered the same myself once.
10 years in and this is all I still know.

Anyone else know more? It would be helpful.
