second hand?
Hoi dhanhurley,
Why not buy a second hand one for EUR 100 - 200. ( that's 150 - 300 Swiss francs? ). I'm using now a machine we bought several years ago for
about EUR 100 with a 2.4 GHz Celeron CPU and 500 MB memory. Quit likely
your second hand computer will be stronger. You might try Ebay.

Hi Repo and F. tuijn, Thanks for the replies. My computer is sick, made so by one of the original KAOS CLUB members, apparently in prison now.I am trying to find out the best to buy for real FREE SOFTWARE.Apparently AMD support linux, and their chips are easier to flash programme with FreeBIOS.LinuxCertified Computers look good; yummy , to have a portable workstation. But i very rarely see money these days. Also the idea of building my own laptop appeals to me.I have NOT done this before.
