want a custom cursor with a x11 file ubuntu 10.10


ive posted before with a problem trying to get my .cur file to a .png. Well I i got the .cue to .png and from there even got the .png to x11....now i cant just set the cursor and when i locate the file it doent even display as though it were a windows file again what do i do?


got the .cur file to a .png file and even mananged to change the .png to an x11 file*****

I take it that a .cur file is a small picture file for cursors. I don't know what you mean by an x11 file however.
A .cue file is a metadata file used for cue/bin cdrom images. It doesn't make sense "got .cue to .png".

Why don't you say what you are trying to do. You are losing us in the details.

sorry it took so long the .cur file is a windows based cursor specifically called Master-Sword.cur.......i managed to convert the .cur file to a .png so now its Master-Sword.png....i was told that if i wanted to make it my cursor i would need to convert that to an x11 file...which i believe i have done as well...i just cant seem to set the cursor as...well....my cursor...any ideas?
