VPN connection with EAP auth

Hello Experts,

I am trying to connect the vpn (PPTP) from a linux distribution with EAP authentication selected but it is not able to establish the connection with the VPN server. On the VPN Server end I am using WIndows server 2008 R2's RRAS (Routing and remote access services). The auth request is sent to the NPS Server (Network Policy server) Windows Server 2008 R2 based in the NPS SErver the Policy is defined to accept the connection with the EAP auth connection initiated.
Any ideas what could be the issue.

Thanks
FRANK
