So I would like to remotely be able to control my ubuntu computer using my iPad. I have read a few tutorials and have been able to VNC to the computer. I'm having a few issues though. I can't really see any changes from my ipad it only shows the very first screen and allows me to move my mouse but it wouldn't update the image to see whats happening. Also I don't really know how to add ssh to VNC.

Are there any other good/secure ways to control your ubuntu computer remotely using the iPad?

I have been using iTeleport for the iPad to connect.

Have a look at NX Nomachine, they have MacOS client too, so it should work on the iPad I guess. It's not too hard to setup and for sure is a lot more secure then VNC.
