VM Guest Additions on CentOS minimal

is vm guest additions will not work in minimal linux?

I have CentOS 8 minimal kernel 4.8.0-180 and have vm guest additions installed.
But i still can't select text to copy and resize the windows size.

How to check if vm guest additions is running fine in the CentOS 8?
