Viewing NTFS hard drives in RH 9.0

Ok here is the deal... I just migrated over from Mandrake back to RH. One thing that I used to be able to view in mandrake was my NTFS hard drives (to get my mp3s, I have about 100 gbs). I used to be able to go to my /mnt dir and it would give me access to the hard drives as well as my cd/dvd drives. It no longer recognizes the NTFS drive. Is there a way to view these?

First, install the NTFS kernel module; then add it to /etc/fstab

optionally, recompile kernel with ntfs (read only) support
Sticky warning: dont enable ntfs-write thru kernel..buggy still
