Viewing "boot messages"?


As Linux loads it displays a long list of things, like updating font indexes and such. Is there a way to either a) slow down this display or b) re-display these messages so that I can read them and make sure I am loading correct modules or any number of hypothetical situations?

type.. "dmesg"

if you wanna search for something in the boot stuff do..


"dmesg | grep whatever"
