Very Wrong swap part

I tried to make new swap place, created new part for it, then launched mkswap command, but the thing is i selected wrong part, the one i made for swap was this where linux is, so basicly / folder is gone, at first i was able to use some of the commands, but umount didn't work and i had to reboot, now i'm on windows, linux didn't load up, kernel panic.

Possible to fix it somehow?

I use Slackware.

Easiest fix is to do a reinstallation. If you have the Slackware installation dvd/cds, boot off the (first) disc and go trough the setup; if not, order or download and burn the install media.

Possibly you could try to get back some files with appropriate software, but in my opinion your best/quickest bet is to reinstall and restore from backup.

Fortunately mkswap doesn't overwrite the whole partition - just a couple of pages. Unfortunately they happen to be the first ones, and I expect would smack the filesystem metadata.
If it's ext3 you might want to try "mkfs.ext3 -S" followed by fsck. Take note of the warnings in the manpage.
