utmp, wtmp


these files should be in /var/adm but there aren't

how can I install these files? and how I can see the info stored in its (are in binary or plain text?)

I have /var/log/wtmp. It's binary and you can see it contents by using 'last' command (with parameters).

in linux u have utmp in
/var/run/utmp
which krrps records of current logins

wtmp in
/var/log/wtmp
keeps record of logins and logout
