utility to update the last modified time of a directory


Is there an utility or by any methods to update (change) the last modified time of a linux directory?

I use "touch"

I thought 'touch' can only change the timestamp of a file not a directory. Can I 'touch' a directory?

Of course. In Linux/Unix, "everything is a file".
