linux and windows together

Sure!
You can run each on its own machine and run one keyboard with each hand.
You can run a dual boot one one hardware platform, and boot to yoru OS of the hour.
You can run one on the iron and the other as a virtual machine (in either order).

What is your real objective here, can you add detail?
