Smile username not in the sudoers file


Hi all,
when i try to run any sudo command , it is not running
instead it gives
"username not in the sudoers file".


it is problem in my redhat computer

I'm presuming you're running RH6 or 7; this should work for both, I think:

As root, you will have to add your UserID to the list of users allowed to run commands as root using the sudo command.

Once you've made the changes as detailed in that article you should be able to execute commands with escalated privileges such as "sudo yum check-update" etc.
