Which command did you issue? Or, what exactly did you do to cause this error message?

Yes. What command gave you the error?
And please use copy/paste, in code tags, to show us the error. I seriously doubt there were spaces around the slashes...

You can edit your OP to remove your email address...private replies is not how LQ works...
Welcome!

USB mounted doesn't work

Good day my friends ,

Your problem sounds like there is directory at /media/dennis/EOF6-31C3 and there is nothing bootable actually attached to that directory, or the physical device attached there is just , well, empty. When you mount the USB device, open a terminal and enter
Code:
dmesg

Thanks so much for your solutions.

USB KEY DOESN'T WORKS : ubuntu 14.04 LTS - Trusty version

Your problem sounds like there is directory at /media/dennis/EOF6-31C3 and there is nothing bootable actually attached to that directory, or the physical device attached there is just , well, empty. When you mount the USB device, open a terminal and enter
Code:
dmesg
The last few lines should reflect what happens when you mount the USB device. See how it identifies the device.

FAT-fs (sdb1): Volume was not properly unmounted. Some data may be corrupt. Please run fsck.
This is the key error message. If there isn't critical data stored on your USB drive try running the fsck command below. That might repair the filesystem and allow it to mount but files may have been corrupted or lost.

sudo fsck.vfat /dev/sdb1

Otherwise some other data recovery tool could be better suited.
