Question Upgrade Gphoto to Gphoto2

Hi, i just install Mandrake 9.1 RC1 with Gphoto preinstall. My Digicam is a Canon G3 that won't work with Gphoto. When i check their website, the new Gphoto2 should works fine with camera. Since i am new on Linux, i really don't want to re-compile the new Gphoto2. Is there anyway to upgrade my Gphoto to Gphoto2 ?

Thanks

gphoto2 should come with Mandrake 9.1 (It comes with 8.1 and 9.0). It's surprising that gphoto 0.4 would have been installed by default. Check your install CDs (run the mandrake package manager) - it's probably on there somewhere
