Unable to mount nfs filesystem on dm355


Hi all

I am tamil.i am working with dm355 target board.i am using nfs mount to mount the file system on target.i am trying booting kernel via tftp by using nfs mount.when i boot...i get this error




Looking up port of RPC 100003/2 on 192.168.1.4
Root-NFS: Unable to get nfsd port number from server, using default
Looking up port of RPC 100005/1 on 192.168.1.4
Root-NFS: Unable to get mountd port number from server, using default
mount: server 192.168.1.4 not responding, timed out
Root-NFS: Server returned error -5 while mounting /home/venmsol/workdir/filesys
VFS: Unable to mount root fs via NFS, trying floppy.
VFS: Cannot open root device "nfs" or unknown-block(2,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot optio
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(2,0)
Firewall on system is disabled and nfs server isrunning and i was able to mount on my pc using
mount -t nfs 192.168.1.4:/home/venmsol/workdir/filesys

can anyone help me with this problem...

Perhaps the NFS or one of the related modules is not in the initrd or the kernel?
