Ubuntu with KDE

I've just installed Ubuntu, and the default desktop is KDE. It didn't even ask me! How can I re-install it, substituting KDE for GNOME?

I thought GNOME was the default on Ubuntu and you have to install KDE via apt?

That seems to ring a bell with me as well reddazz.

Install the Ubuntu, then change the apt-sources list so it reflects debian repositories as well so you can get all the "proper" debian packages.

regards

John
