I've spent several days trying to configure Ubuntu server to run on my Ethernet LAN to test-run ICA-AtoM software -
http://ica-atom.org/download.html - for our local museum.
I am using a Pentium III with 500 megs of ram and an 80 gig hard disk as my server. I previously loaded Ubuntu Desktop with no difficulties, but have now replaced it with Ubuntu Server
The Ubuntu Server installation CD created from the ISO file seems to work fine. Gnome-core seems to work fine on the server PC.
I can't seem to install webadmin after downloading it to desktop to determine my server address details and I haven't been able to find detailed instructions on how to access the server from the other PCs on my LAN.
The Ubuntu website procedure doesn't seem to get to the really basic steps.
Can anybody help?
Thanks, Murphy.
