Transferring data from Linux to Windows

Hi,

I have 2 laptops, one in Mandrake Linux (10.1) and other Windows XP. I want to transfer data from the linux one to the Windows.

I have a network cable only with me. Can I transfer data with that? Both the machines are at my home and I do not have any LAN or internet connection. Or there is no other way other than doing a disk copy or using a third tool like flash memory.

Please guide.

Regards,
Satya

just connect the boxes together with a crossover ethernet cable, give each box an IP, and then FTP the files from one box to the other...
