Your question makes no sense. If you have already learned 'linux kernel programming', you then obviously *KNOW* how to do it. What are you asking??
The kernel source is available on your system; install it, and open the files. If you know how to program, you will then know what to do.

Hi pkhlingam,
Perhaps read the link in my signature about how to use the LinuxQuestions site to help improve your question.
Also you can check on the Ubuntu forums for a guide how to download and build the kernel which they use on their releases, and that way you'll be working with the same kernel that matches the distribution and whatever changes you make, you will be able to compare against what you started with.
