This is to introduce myself and activate my account.

Hopefully someone can help me with Garmin MapSource.I just purchased but have not received my System 76 laptop. I'm not enthused about learning one more Microsoft op.sys. If Ford had Microsoft's business model. When they came out with a new car they would hide the gas pedal and clutch and call them something different. Hence my journey into Linux.

I like that Ford analogy!

It looks as if it will not run natively on Linux, but may run in Wine. You might take a look at Open Street Map.
