The amazing invisible cursor


I recently reinstalled my suse 9.0 and XP pro dual boot. I cannot see my cursor when i am in suse. My mouse is recognized and i can mouse over icons but the cursor is invisible.

I did not have this problem the first time i installed

Or at least reconfiguring it and making sure all the correct things are selected.

Hello.
I searched and found this topic and I have exactly the same problem. I'm a complete linux newbie,so can someone be more specific than the 2 guys that replied?

and make sure you know all your system specs to input. this will reconfigure X. if that doesnt work, try

mouseconfig
. it is for configureing your mouse.

thanks for the reply. I had installed the suse vga drivers. When i downloaded and installed the nvidia drivers the cursor appeared. So it looks that it was a vga or monitor problem.
