Hi,

I'd like to know about my computer's guts without taking it apart. is there a command to tell me things like:

-how much memory i have
-processor speed
-hard disk space

it's pretty straightforward on user oriented Operating Systems, but i always have trouble with the simple stuff on Linux.

thanks

check out: http://www.ss64.com/bash/ and print it out (only 4 pages) and stick it on your wall.
Code:
df - Report filesystem disk space usage
free - memory space usage
don't know about processor command- I'm sure there is one, I just can't find it. try googling it.

hope this helps
