Switching Desktops in Debian

Hi everyone

I've managed to install Debian 3.0 r2 and upgraded to Testing. I'm also running Gnome 2.0 (I think) since I did an apt-get install gnome-session after the dist-upgrade to Testing.
I am now looking for a way to switch between different desktop environments in Debian. I would like to play with a few different environments and see which one I like the most. How do I go about changing desktop environments?

Thanx
LeRoux

Well as it's been a while since I used debian, I'd guess that you'd need to apt-get install kde (or possibly kdm).

Then you can usually just select kde instead of gnome at login (if my memory serves me correctly).

regards

I have already installed gdm and gnome...as I understand I can simply add another desktop environment and switch between the different ones. KDE is a window manager also and wil therefore not be so easy to switch between.

I simply want to be able to switch between the desktop environments...
