Question SwapSpace


How must be the SWAPSPACE in Slackware 9.0...I have made an Linux SWAPSPACE 700MB is it enough.... And mu Linux Ext3 Partition i have made it to be 3GB

Since my first Linux installation, ive always made my swap space the same size as my amount of RAM..

Fx.

512 Ram = 512 Swap.

So i have 512 Swap for at 10 GB / drive...

Are 700MB SWAPSPACE good for 256MB RAM?

700MB SWAP? Wow. I'd go with 128MB max. You probably won't even touch the SWAP.

I would go with 128MB of swap if you start using a lot of your swap partition you can always allocate more space later for swap.
