Swap


is there anyway to clean up the swap partition without restarting??

why do u wanna clean up swap? its just like windows paging file and comp. only uses it when it runs out of RAM, to store data thats temporary anyway.

cause it as well as the ram is full and i just wanted to know if there was a way, if there isn't you can just say no

Dude - I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say your "swap as well as the RAM is full". If you are asking, "What should I do if my CPU is at 100%?" then look at your running processes. If you asking "What should I do if my system is hung?", well, if it is totally unresponsive to anything you try, then rebooting might be your only answer. I think you probably could get better advice if you described your situation in a little more detail. -- J.W.
