Strange cron job issue

Hi,
I am facing a strange problem as,

I had set the cron entries in crontab -e but after sudden network failure, when I view crontab -l, blank screen is displayed & also when run crontab -e, it shows "/tmp/crontab.XXXXHnjfGm" 27L, 27C

Any solution how can view & recover my cron jobs..

Try to recover it from /var/log/cron or /var/log/syslog
