Hey - I am new to linux and instead of getting internet of the kind that just works as you plug it in, I moved into a student flat that has the static ip kind that makes a newby like me very cautious, perhaps even overcautious.

here I think I can squeeze in
this data (the Dutch text just says the obvious). However, the only thing I can't stuff into that text file or that neat little connection wizzard seems to be the "DNS suffix" as seen in the last pic. How do I add this to my configuration in Ubuntu? Thanks!
