ssh passwordless login with network home folder

Hi ,
In our setup , my home folder is on a network drive , accessible across servers. How can i setup passwordless ssh with public/private key between these servers ?

Some steps:
1)What is the source machine to initiate the ssh?
2)Which user is going to initiate the ssh?
Log in as that person on the source machine.

3)Generate a key, using keygen. When prompted for the password, enter nothing (blank)
4)This will create the id_rsa.pub and id_rsa
5)Copy the id_rsa.pub to the home of the user on the destination server that will be used in the ssh connection
6)chmod and change ownership of id_rsa.pub to 700 correct owner
7)Setup the ssh from source server to destination server.
