Spamassassin and marking spam in email clients
I'm very new to Spamassassin and from what I can see, whitelisting and blacklisting email addresses can be done from my Webmin control panel, but I'm just wondering if there's a way email users can control the Spamassassin whitelists and blacklists from email clients like Outlook and Thunderbird?
Does the spam folder in the email account play a role in how Spamassassin determines what is spam and what isn't (ie, if I move a legitimate email from the spam folder to the inbox, does that help Spamassassin to learn that email from that sender isn't spam and vice versa)?
